ESG Manager
Are you passionate about assisting entrepreneurs in developing a sustainable course and guiding them through the realization of a (sustainable) annual report that complies with legal obligations? Then we are looking for you!
The Netherlands (NL)
32-40 hours
As an ESG manager, you will work independently or alongside our affiliated accountants and financial professionals on various client projects. You will be the main point of contact for our clients and will handle project management across different assignments.
What will you be doing?
– Providing advice on determining and implementing sustainability strategies;
– Assisting in the preparation of annual reports in accordance with reporting standards;
– Identifying and following up on commercial opportunities with existing and potential clients;
– Identifying areas for improvement in our services;
– Mentoring current and new colleagues;
– Supporting the development of collaborations with accounting firms;
– Assisting in daily management tasks such as planning and training.
What are we looking for?
You are an experienced and independent advisor passionate about sustainability. You know how to provide the right strategic advice and understand what it takes to embed a sustainability strategy in organizations. Additionally, we would like to see:
– More than 5 years of consulting experience;
– Experience in conducting workshops, training sessions, and presentations, as well as leading projects;
– An entrepreneurial mindset and excellent communication skills;
– A relevant academic degree;
– Strong analytical skills;
– Proficiency in Microsoft Office;
– Knowledge of relevant (reporting) standards such as CSRD, GRI, GHG protocol, SBT, CDP, and TCFD. Experience with CO2 footprint or LCA is preferred.
